I've been riding with Hold Fast FRS for about six months now, and I can't say better things about them. I've ridden them in traffic, off stair sets, and for 6 plus mile rides. They're solid as all hell, none of the webbing or parts are wearing to fast (and I've laid my bike over more than a few times). Entry and exit of the straps are super quick and easy, they pop back up pretty easy if you accidently step on them too. Overall these are super well designed. If you're rocking platform pedals, I'd look into Hold Fast.

I can’t believe how well these straps connect me to my bike. I;ve been riding power grip (and power grip style straps like the feetbelts) for the at least 10 years and the Hold Fast FRS are so much better! I will never go back to the powergrip style straps.

I can honestly say that these are the best solution for foot retention on a fixed gear for tricks I've ever ridden. Hand-made in Brooklyn NY and you'll NEVER need to buy toe clips again!
With two areas of adjustability and a unique wedge-profile, your feet don't slide forward. Adjust them to how you see fit, with a set of BMX or MTB platforms. They're great for gaps / stairs and drops. When you take off, your foot is wedged in tightly. I've come unclipped so many times doing gaps. With these, that's not an issue. I've spent the last 5 months or so riding these and I would never go back to toe clips.

I've been riding these for about 4 months now….I’ve commuted on them, ridden traffic, and obviously done tricks and I really love them. I think, especially for a platform style pedal, there's no other way to go. I no longer have to buy two sets of toe clips a week, and they're very comfortable…the adjustability is amazing. Y can constantly adjust them if you'd like, or you can set them once and leave it forever. I think that for what we're doing they really can't be beat!
The nice thing about these is the adjustability. You can ride them in a comfortable position like where you'd be in a toe clip, and if you feel it's necessary pull your foot back a bit and crank’em down a little tighter for toe clearance.

It's easy for me to see why there's been such internet buzz about them. Depending on how tight and how much of your foot you want on the pedal, you can definitely eek out extra bar spin clearance, and they do feel very solid.
The materials and craftsmanship are top notch, they seem thoroughly thought through (yeah, alliteration), there's no cage to break. All in all they're the hot shit if you prefer a toe clip less foot retention system that's not clipless (SPD and others).
